TYPE AAC (All Aluminum Conductor), when constructed according to Class A or Class AA specifications, is primarily used for overhead power transmission and distribution services where the strength of type ACSR is not required.

CONDUCTOR – Concentric lay stranded all aluminum conductor made up of one or more strands of 99.5% pure 1350 H-19 hard or soft temper aluminum alloy. Type AAC is highly resistant to harsh weather, heat, and corrosion.
